TAZORAC® (tazarotene) Cream 0.1% and Gel 0.1% Important Information
TAZORAC® Cream 0.1% is used on the skin to treat people with acne vulgaris. It is not known if TAZORAC® Cream is safe and effective for the treatment of acne vulgaris in children under 12 years of age.
TAZORAC® Gel 0.1% is used on the skin to treat people with mild to moderate facial acne vulgaris. It is not known if TAZORAC® Gel is: safe and effective for use in children under 12 years of age; effective for the treatment of acne in people who have been treated with retinoid medicines or have acne that does not respond to treatment with oral antibiotics; effective when used less than 1 time a day; or safe if used over more than 20% of your body for the treatment of acne.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use TAZORAC® Cream or Gel if you are: pregnant or plan to become pregnant; are allergic to tazarotene or any of the ingredients in TAZORAC® Cream or Gel.
