3 SIMPLE STEPS TO CLEARER SKIN

TAZORAC® SHOULD BE APPLIED ONCE A DAY, BEFORE GOING TO BED. HERE'S HOW:

  • Step

    STEP 1: CLEANSE

Begin by gently washing your face with warm (not hot) water and a mild cleanser. Avoid any astringents or alcohol-based products. Then, gently pat your face dry.

  • Step

    STEP 2: MOISTURIZE

Many dermatologists recommend moisturizing before applying TAZORAC® Cream or Gel. We call this the “moisturize first” technique. Gently rub in your moisturizer, ensuring there is no more cream or lotion left on the skin before proceeding to the next step.

  • Step

    STEP 3: APPLY TAZORAC®

Spread 1 pea-sized drop over the areas of your face with a thin film of TAZORAC® Cream or Gel where you have acne lesions. Avoid eyes, eyelids, and mouth. Wash your hands after applying TAZORAC®.

CLEARER SKIN IN WEEKS

The most common side effects are peeling, burning/stinging, dry skin, red skin, and itching. Give the medicine time to work! Your skin should start to improve after 4 weeks.

Be patient and continue to use TAZORAC® as prescribed. Be nice to your skin. Don’t scrub, pick, or pop pimples. If you have any concerns during your treatment with TAZORAC®, contact your doctor. If you miss a dose, do not try to make it up. Continue with your normal schedule.
